The Denver Bulldogs gathered for the annual gala PRAP night to celebrate what was season 2018. Although the Bulldogs failed to bring home any premierships, the club celebrated what was one of the most successful off-field performances in club history. The women’s team went through a rebuilding stage welcoming 28 rookies and the men similar with many new players joining the team throughout the year. The club also held many successful club functions and fundraisers during the year boosting the club’s financial situation. The club this year boasted record player numbers and has become the biggest club in the USAFL.
Denver Bulldogs men season record – 6 wins, 6 losses
Denver Lady Bulldogs season record – 3 wins, 1 loss
As with all past PRAP Nights players and spouses dressed their best and came together to recognize individual acts throughout the 2018 season. The Bulldogs creative talents were also on full display during the night, with reenactments, rhymes and videos keeping the crowd entertained. Timmy shared various little Bulldogs’ opinions of the old fart Bulldogs, Phil and others reminded us all about Nick’s trip to Australia to see the Crows lose 3 times, we saw Sara’s judgment day, we were all blessed to witness Cameron’s beer drinking shoey antics and it was death by 1000 Jibjab’s from Alex. Just incase you missed watching Alex’s Jibjab’s we have the video again below to watch.

Nick Auden Memorial Award
Sara Edwards Rohner
This award is not given every year. It’s given when a worthy recipient displays a great deal of courage, tenacity, and love of club and family throughout the season–traits that Nick Auden had in spades. The winner of this award receives a donation from the club to a non-profit cause of their choosing.
This year’s winner was Sara Edwards Rohner. She showed tremendous tenacity and love of the club by helping to rebuild the women’s team, working diligently to recruit a record 28 new rookies, serving on the board, helping raise funds, sponsoring the club through her business, and donating her professional photography services for player head shots. She also played in every tournament in her trademark Bulldog way by displaying toughness, skill, and love of her teammates and club. While doing all this Sara, was also a devoted mother and wife. Nick loved his family, he loved the game, and he was quietly tough. Sara is too.
