This week, we’d like you to meet Dave Nelson. Dave stared in the Colorado Cup games and has traveled with the team to Nashville and Los Angeles. Dave grew up in Australia but never played footy until he moved state side.
Q: What sports did you play prior to giving Aussie Rules footy a go (or previous footy clubs)?
Grew up on the beach back home in Australia and my favorite sport was surfing.
Q: What attracted you to footy?
Was keen to join a team for fitness and had a couple friends coming to the bulldogs. Turned out to be a great decision!
Q: Favorite part of the game now?
Great group of guys in the footy club, only bad part is harkos training’s.
Q: Best memory as a Bulldog so far?
Kicking my first goal off an assist from nobes only handball for the year.
Q: What are your personal goals for this year?
Personal goal is to become a consistent performer.
